Sofas..couches….whatever you want to call ’em, they’re a staple in your home, not to mention an investment piece. Add that to a million different options to choose from and it easily becomes overwhelming!
In today’s post, I’m sharing 21 different sofas at three different price points to get you started in the right direction and hopefully, take away some of that overwhelm.
I’ll also share a couple of tips for choosing the right sofa and fabric!
If you’re new to my blog and the savvy favorites series then it’s worth mentioning that all of my picks either have a rating of four stars and above or is a piece that I’ve seen in person or sourced for a client.
But, before I get into all of the different sofas I picked out, let me go over a couple of quick tips to consider when purchasing a sofa.
Did you know that the average person sits on their sofa for about four hours a day?! Take that into account and you’ll want to make sure you have one sofa that you’re going to love.
So if you can, sit in it!
Pay attention to the wear and tear of the piece, and ask yourself some of the following questions:
Another important thing to consider is the grade and rub count of the fabric. Find this out if possible, especially if you get to choose from a bunch of different fabrics.
The rub count is how long the fabric will last before it starts to show wear and tear. The fabric is put through an extensive test of double rubs to test its durability. The higher the rub count, the better the quality of the fabric.
Sames goes with the grade, the higher letter or number, the better the quality.
I should also mention that some of the sofas I sourced come in a bunch of different fabrics and leg finishes, so the price is bound to change depending on your choices.
Ok, enough already ….let’s get into the sofas!
