I’ve been eyeing a washable rug for quite some time, but I had so many questions about it, especially after hearing mixed reviews about them. After spending some time online, I discovered a few new sites that carry some great washable rugs! So I thought it would be only fair to share where some of my favorite places are to shop for washable rugs.
There are many companies that make washable rugs. Some other companies similar to Ruggable are Rugs USA, Ruggable, Boutique Rugs, Tumble living, and Plush Rugs. There are other companies like Lorena Canals, Wayfair, West Elm, and Amazon that have a few options, too.

Yes! Most washable rugs up to 8×10 will fit into a standard, non-commercial size washing machine, and dryer. See the manufacturer tag/instructions for more details regarding how to wash your washable rug.
According to ruggable, you should wash washable rugs directly after any major stain or accident. Minor accidents can be spot treated.
Wash your washable rug using cold water and mild detergent in the washing machine. Also, make sure you aren’t using any bleach. After the wash cycle, hang it to dry or toss it into the dryer on a no-heat cycle.
For any remaining wrinkles, a low-heat iron or steamer can be used. See the manufacturer’s instructions for more details regarding how to wash your washable rug.
Check the manufacturer’s tag. Never assume a rug is machine washable unless it states so on the tag.
It’s only safe to wash a rug in a washing machine when the tag indicates that it can be washed in the washer.
Certain types of synthetic and natural rugs are machine washable. To know for certain, check the manufacturer’s information on their website or tag.
